Awesome. I hope it does, the Wii U has so much potential, if it winds up being dropped or something in the end, I'd be very disappointed.

Re: Super Mario 3D World
"catapult the Wii U back into being relevant". That line is ridiculous.
WTH do they mean by "relevant"? Do they just mean the lackluster of sells the Wii U has brought?
Or do they believe the system is so out of the loop it was trashed but SM3DW is the saving grace?

Re: Super Mario 3D World
The way they word it, it sounds as though they mean it will become a console people actually want because a new game is available.
And then after this there's also DKCTF, Bayonetta 2, Smash Bros., Yarn Yoshi, Mario Kart, and the SMT/FE crossover...so many games. x_x Not to mention games that are "currently in progress" that haven't been announced yet according to Iwata.
But back on topic, I accidentaly spoiled a power-up that hadn't previously been shown. It isn't that cool, but I'm so mad for spoiling it when I didn't even mean to.

Re: Super Mario 3D World
Well damn. I just spoiled the power-up in your spoiler as well Luma. :/ I suppose that's why you had it in a spoiler tag though, I just thought you'd be responding to Unknown Entiry's post.
- Spoiler:
- And I was also disappointed they chose the mini mushroom, it is certainly one of the more bland power-ups. I'd prefer the Frog Suit from Mario 3. Even the Cloud Suit would be kinda cool, I just don't think it fits this game, it was more of a Galaxy thing imo.

But Zero, do you have a source showing the revealed power-up?

Re: Super Mario 3D World
- Spoiler:
- In Gamexplain's video review of SM3DW At a certain desert level it appears as though Toad is mini. But uh...perhaps I was mistaken when watching it? You decide for yourself. XD

Re: Super Mario 3D World
- Spoiler:
- That looks more like small Toad and the Golden Statue Mario replaces Statue Mario for the looks of things.
I think it's only sold out on Amazon though since they did not stock that many copies and Mario Kart 8 and Smash 4 will likely out sell this game.

- You're right. Sorry I thought that it was Mini Mushroom, that probably confused people...still, we don't know that it ISN'T in the game.

Re: Super Mario 3D World
I watched a stream for a while yesterday and the only worlds I did not see were three out of the four extra worlds and the first extra world is way harder then any extra world in 3D Land minus the Crown level and it looks like there's no other returning power-ups.

Re: Super Mario 3D World
So, you watched a full extra world, or did you also watch the entire game before that extra world as well? Because I definitely wouldn't have watched it considering I'm almost certainly getting this game.
