It seems like the higher class ones are in a boss level since the boss is likely the squid with the cover on his face.

I don't know if I'd say he's the boss, maybe a mini boss. The others we've seen so far seemed more creative and different.

I think Nintendo really need to clarify a lot of things.
-Is Local Multiplayer 2 player or 4 player?
-Does it include the same Turf War as Online?
-Can you use Wii Remotes?

I mean, they really need to make it clear.

^ Honestly the last 2 are probably impossible, this is one major problem with Wii U, the game revolves around the Gamepad, it seems like a very difficult task to do that. My guess is that local will be 2 player just because so many people would have to use pro controllers, but maybe they could do a 1 vs. 3 mode with 4 players with one person on the Gamepad.

My opinion keeps changing on this game.
Honestly, if the modes available online (Turf War and Splat Zones), aren't in local multiplayer, I definitely won't get it launch day, I might not even get it at all.
If they make a game that's made for multiplayer, yet more online multiplayer, I won't buy it.

^ I mean, what do you expect from an online multiplayer action game? That's what Nintendo has been calling it since announcement. I honestly just doubt they'll be the same modes in local play. Or at least only watered down versions of the modes.

But why would you not get the game only because the local play isn't as full an experience with the game as online? It still looks hella fun either way, and has a single player mode.

Because Zero, if I want to play the game just relaxing let's day on a Sunday afternoon, I don't want to have to go online to play turf war or splat zones.
I also want to be able to play against my sister.
It's just really off, if they don't have the same experience in local multiplayer.

That's nice and all. Though it sucks how the multiplayer is only 1 on 1.

It was kind of expected though, you'd need to use multiple Gamepads to replicate the same experience as online in local multiplayer. But still, the game looks hella sick! It'll be so great, I really can't wait! May 29th can't come soon enough!

Oh, and Europe gets a special Splatoon + Inkling squid amiibo bundle.
That means the South African retailer was actually listing stuff properly (South Africa has Europe releases).

UPDATE - Full translation for the Girl and Squid amiibo from NeoGAF...

We got a picture of the Splatoon Amiibos!

First, we'd like to introduce the Girl.

Those characteristic eye markings, her clear hair(?), all of these things and more have been reproduced. She's cute from every angle... uh, um, as an example, it's been a great success!

The model kinda looks like it could appear out of ink and capture territory in a second, huh?

The squid's model is great, but the brace (the ink below) is beautiful.

At any rate, I haven't heard of a lot of squid figurines before...

It's nice to see every angle of the Splatoon amiibo and we still don't know what the Squid amiibo does yet.

I'm glad they were creative enough to make the brace for the squid Amiibo more ink, it at least looks right unlike those weird colorful sticks on the Smash Amiibo.
