Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire

It's an online competition where you're only allowed to use Pokemon from the Hoenn Pokedex except Kyogre, Groudon, Rayquaza, Jirachi, and Deoxys.

I went to register my Alpha Sapphire copy to the Global Link for some stuff so I noticed that Battle of Hoenn. I'm not going to participate unless they offer a Pokemon I'd be interested in receiving for participation. Nice hidden ability for Tyrunt though.

The Johto starters with their Hidden Abilities will be available by accessing Pokemon Bank from February 27 to November 30.

Ah...yeah, Pokemon Bank doesn't seem worth it to me since I don't really play Pokemon enough. But it's nice you can get the Johto starters for free!

The Custap, Micle, Jacoba, Rowap, and Enigma Berries are available on Global Link's Poke Milage Club in Poke Doll Grabber! Custap and Micle are at Level 1, Jacoba and Rowap are at Level 2, and Enigma is at Level 3.

All participants that got a ranking in the Battle of Hoenn can now pick up a Sturdy Tyrunt by logging into their Global Link accounts.

An Amaura with its Hidden Ability Snow Warning will be available to participants of Enter the Dragon Type! Registration is from Thursday, March 12, 2015, at 00:00 UTC through Thursday, March 19, 2015, at 23:59 UTC. You must have at least one Dragon-type to participate in this competition. Battles will be from Friday, March 20, 2015, at 00:00 UTC through Sunday, March 22, 2015, at 23:59 UTC. Three battles are required to receive Amaura.

The Johto starters are now live on Pokemon Bank.



Also Serena's Fennekin is live for Japan.

The PokeMilage Club on Global Link will be having a 50% discount on items and attractions from July 21 to August 3.

^ I didn't even know that existed, it's a cool system. If I were still into the game fully, I'd probably take advantage of the half price deal. :3

A new tournament is taking place at Global Link, where only Electric-types are allowed and legendaries are banned. Registration begins August 13 at midnight UTC  and ends August 20 at midnight UTC. The tournament will be held from August 21 to August 23. If Pikachu receives top 3 usage, a Pikachu with Endeavor will be distributed, if it makes it to the top 12, then a Light Ball will be given, otherwise all participants receive 1,000 Poke Miles.

Meh, I suck at online competitions anyway. I'd rather play in the game against npc's vs against people who've bread their 'mon to be broken any day.

A Shiny Rayquaza is now being distributed via Wifi.
