I went and got the shiny Rayquaza as soon as I heard about the event. It's a pretty cool one. All ready to mega evolve and it carries a dragon fang.

Hoopa will be coming to North America and Europe through GAME and GameStop distribution. UK will be getting it from October 23 to November 5, while America will be getting it at a later date.

At least they're finally distributing Hoopa here now. Took way too long but it's better than never getting it. I'd like to get it when it's available for my Alpha Sapphire file. Too bad I can't get one for my Pokémon Y version as well. Just one is fine.

I guess this is one event Pokemon I will skip. I hardly ever go to GameStop at all and mystery gift should have been the way Hoopa was sent out.

Yeah McDonald's is odd, but I guess they wanted to do something different this time around. I don't have my 3DS anyway but I probably won't bother getting Hoopa to be honest. I'm done with the game.

Do you have to go inside for the code or can you be in the area? I guess McDonald's give the Pokemon Company the most money though.

^ You probably just have to connect to their wi-fi, but it might be difficult to connect to it if you're not inside. (depending on how well you can normally connect with your device)
EDIT: Lol device, I wasn't thinking about the fact that you use the 3DS.
I'm not sure in that case, as it takes awhile to connect to wi-fi on 3DS.
