Part 7: Catching Lapras

The first thing I did was catching Sudowudo which was blocking the way. I named him Woody. And after reaching Ecruteak City, I met Bill, and I got Eevee from him at Goldenrod City, which I named Eva. I am not going to use both of them.


My Tyrogue evolved to Hitmontop today.


While I said Mareep is uncatchable on Pokemon Crystal, this is a minor hack, so Mareep is catchable. And tada, I already got my favorite Pokemon. It evoloved into Flaaffy a bit later.

There was a rival match at the Burned Tower. Since Mareep could take down Croconaw easily, this one was much easier than the one on Azalea Town.


Morty was pretty easy. Kadabra fainted all the Ghost Pokemon, by its Psychic moves. Even Gengar wasn't really hard to defeat this time. Let's stop the clock.

My Phanpy evolved into Donphan. Now he would be even better in battles.


On Friday, you could actually catch Lapras on Union Cave. And this thing took a lot of Poke Balls to Catch, even with Red Health Bar and Paralyze. But still, I catched it, and it is going to be a massive help.

I also decided to put Hitmontop at a daycare- while I like him, it learns skills at a much higher level, so it couldn't be of use right now.

Part 8: Cure the Sick Ampharos!

Let's start with two evolutions!


Phantom the Gastly evolved into Haunter.


Taiya the Sentret evolved into Furret. Yes, I know that Taiya is an HM Pokemon, but it needs to be evolved in order to learn Strength.

I reached Olivine City, and I defeated all trainers in the lighthouse. I met Jasmine and the sick Ampharos, who needs a medicine in order to get cured. Now let's go to Cianwood.




Fight with Chuck was a bit hard, since I didn't grind that much recently. Also, PK Rockin the Kadabra doesn't really have a good defense, so it could lose health fast. But still, I managed to defeat him. Stop the Clock!!

And so, Ampharos is cured, and we can now face Jasmine. But I am going to train my Pokemon a bit more in the next episode, instead of facing her already.


We can use Fly from now on. I catched Owloh the Noctowl who is going to be our Fly HM Pokemon.

I knew you would get Lapras and I feel like Long Nose will be the odd one out.

Part 9: Two Gym Leaders- and One Member Change


I beat Jasmine. The Magnemites were a breeze- Blaze the Quilava burned them all. The Steelix was a bit harder, but Aquari the Lapras took care of it by Surf. And so, Jasmine is beaten.


I also went to Lake of Rage and catched the Red Gyarados. I named it Fatal Fury, based after the game of the same name. He is also going to be a HM Pokemon.

At this point, I changed my Party Pokemon. One Hit KO the Hitmontop went back to the Daycare. Also Long Nose the Donphan was replaced with Eva the Eevee, considering that Donphan's only Ground Attack is Earthquake, and thousands of Pokemons can learn it.


I also defeated all the Rockets in the Rocket Hideout with Lance.


My Flaafy evolved into Ampharos today. Yay, my favorite Pokemon!


Pryce was also pathetically easy. His Water Pokemon were toasted by Amanda the Ampharos. His Ice Pokemon were burned by Blaze the Quilava. Big Win.

I guess your Eevee will end up being a Umbreon and Pryce was always an easy gym leader.

Part 10: Nearly Finished


Team Rocket is finally finished. Yay!

On the way to Blackthorn City, I catched Wings the Skarmory. (No screenshot) It is going to replace Eevee. Also I catched Suicune at Tin Tower, but I am not going to use it.


Clair wasn't that hard, thanks to my Lapras. And so, after completing the Dragon's Den mission, I've got all 8 Johto Badges.


Also two evolutions. As I said before, Alakazam evolved through level up since this is a minor all Pokemon hack..


Finally I took my final step into Kanto and beat my Rival Again. I guess the next step is the Pokemon League itself. Gulp.

Part 11: The Final Leg


For Will, I just used Wings the Skarmory which recieved 1/2 damage from Psychic Attacks. If I had a Dark Type, this would be easier but oh well.


Koga was easier than Will. All his Pokemons were either Psyched by PK Rockin the Alakazam or Blaze the Typhlosion.


Bruno was pretty tough, considering Alakazam's Defence isn't that good. But still I beat it.


Karen gave me a challenge. I had to use a lot of different Pokemon to defeat her. But nevertheless, I really like how Karen's last words are pretty much directed on people who trash all the Pokemon which aren't perfect on IV or EV or whatever..


For Lance, I used Amanda the Ampharos and Aquari the Lapras. This battle made me hate Critical Hits even more, it made Amanda faint while it wouldn't if it wasn't for it. Thank god that Criticals were nerfed into x1.5 on Gen 6.

But still, we beat the Pokemon League! We are the Champions!

I enjoyed reading your logs but, how come Hunter did not become a Gengar?

Well now that I've been skipping on reading this every day you've updated it, I guess it's time to go through the whole playthrough. XD I'm sure it'll be good though.

Also I will be doing the Kanto part so it isn't over yet. Well I might move over to the next play, or I might do Kanto. I will chose this later.
